I love the N.A.I.L. theme this week : INSPIRED BY PINTEREST! I have over 1600 pins (most of which are nails) so I had no problem finding a nail art pin that inspired me. When I pin pics I always think “Oooooh I love this nail art design, I’m pinning it so I remember to try it later!” But do I ever try it? NO. See, this is why I love this week’s theme!
I tried one manicure and it was an epic fail, but my second one came out great! Let’s see….
This handpainted feather motif was inspired by just1nail’s pin of her instagram pic posted here. Something about her design really stood out to me! I love how the opaque pastel feather stands out against the dark holo background! So pretty and sorta retro. Thanks for the inspiration Paola!
I didn’t have the same polishes as Paola so I changed it up a bit. Here’s what I’m wearing…
♥ Duri Rejuvacote – one coat as my basecoat
♥ Zoya Payton – two coats as the maroon holo base color
♥ Wet n wild I Need a Refresh-Mint – blue accents painted with a skinny brush
♥ Seche Vite – topcoat
Pretty feather! Love that it continues in each nail too 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
Payton looks so great on your nail shape!!
Thank you! Once i got payton on the nail i really liked it a lot… dried fast too!
That color combo really makes the feather pop! 🙂 looove that purple!
tHANKSS!! i love payton too!
I love the green over Payton – perfect!
thanks 🙂 🙂
So pretty, Jacqui! I just bought Payton when Zoya did their Color Your World promo this year. It came in the mail today and I’m super psyched to try it out after seeing this!
yess!!! i liked that it dried fast and the finish was really cool- kinda rubbery but shiny 🙂
These are so pretty! And I love the color combo in this mani!
thank you!
That blue is just gorgeous on that purple background! The feather came out really cool.
Your nails look amazing!
The purple background looks stunning and I love all the detail on your nails 😉
Thanks for sharing this beautiful manicure with us and I’m looking forward to read your next post!

Zoya Payton…I die! What a gorgeous color and the blue really pops against it.
It’s SUCH an interesting design to begin with!
These colours together are so… yes! RETRO’s the word.
Perfect execution, so true to Paola’s vision! : )
thanks! I love this one!
