My mom came over to get her nails painted and brought a light blue Revlon cream with her. It’s called Dreamer and I couldn’t NOT try it out! To add some pizazz I topped it with two coats of Revlon Whimsical. Whimsical is infamous for being very sheer so it was nice to pair it with a blue base. These Revlon polishes dried pretty quick even though it’s very humid here. I didn’t even have to use my seche vite to make ’em dry. Say what??? That never happens.
So while I was painting my mom’s nails I asked if she thought I should file mine down a little. She quickly said YES and that I’m starting to look like Edward Scissorhands!! MOM!?! Hahahaa! Is that how you should treat your personal (and free) manicurist?!
So next time you see me I might have an updated and shorter look! We’ll see…
Great combo! And your nails have grown super fast! 🙂
Thanks! They really have grown fast! This Sally Hansen maximum growth stuff is amazing 🙂
pretty combo! And hehehe for mothers, can always count on them to say the nice stuff! 😀
Yup no sugarcoating! Thats how we know they love us!
I have Whimsical! One of my faves. It also happens to be a good dupe for Deborah Lippmann Glitter In The Air. Revlon has a lot of polishes that dupe DL, actually – I should do a post. Hmmm…
I dont own any dlipps…poor Crafty.
i like your idea of dupe post!
I’m w your mom. Not necessarily on the Edward scissor hands part cuz your nails still look really nice, but I’m a fan of shorter nails. Some people grow em out wayyyy too long for my personal taste. But that’s the beauty of it- it’s personal! 😉 I love whimsical, I’ll have to dig it out again sometime.
I like to hear people’s views on nail length. I guess im a fan of long nails. But…. i went ahead and chopped em last nite!
