Day 21 of the Nail Art Challenge is FLORAL DAY and this is my chance to finally try cherry blossoms! Last month I got an Arizona Iced Tea during my lunch break- and look how cute the can is! I put green tea/ cherry blossoms on my mental to-do list and I’ve been saving the can ever since. 🙂
I did a gradient using Orly Gumdrop and a mixture of two yellows- AVON Inspire and wet n wild The Wonder Yellows. Then I free-hand painted some branches with a black polish. The cherry blossoms were dotted on with a dotting tool and a Sephora by OPI polish called Access 24/7.
Came out better than I could have hoped. Too bad I have to take it off soon in preparation of the next nail art challenge design. I woulda loved to prance around with my arizona iced tea nails a little bit longer! I hope you like them too!
Gorgeous !
These look amazing! I love Arizona green tea too!
Thank you 🙂 The cans are so pretty, aren’t they? I guess they recently had a promo to design the label for their new cherry flavor. Too bad we missed the deadline lol
Thanks Brijit! I had fun with this one!
This is really too pretty, love it!
Thanks 🙂 I love that this can had a yellow gradient on it- it was fun to play with the different colors !
Definitely, the yellow’s a really nice touch 🙂
Hey lovely gradient. I still suck at gradients
Thnx! I cut up my makeup sponge into skinny pieces- it’s easier to sponge a gradient that way. Plus, when the surface of the sponge is so small… it doesn’t hit my cuticles- so there’s no cleanup required!
Well that seems like a good tip, thanks a lot
This is amazing Crafty! It’s beautiful! 😀
Thanks Eeeek! sometimes we surprise ourselves lol
This is a pretty mani!
These are lovely!
Definitely a design you’ll have to do again 😀 Colours on the gradient are perfect and the little cherry blossoms are so sweet 🙂
you’re so kind! i will def try this again!
These are amazing Jacqui! I love everything about it!
Brilliant and so pretty for spring! Xox
Beautiful! 😀
I would be gutted to have to take this off lol and I am now wondering if I go into college next week to let people practice on me if anyone could pull this look off!
wow u design is spot on. the cherry bloosoms look perfect
I truly love your website.. Very nice colors & theme.
Did you make this website yourself? Please reply back as I’m hoping to create my own personal blog and would love to learn where you got this from or just what the theme is called. Many thanks!
Wow, you did an amazing job !! I was thinking the other day how hard that must be to work so hard and then because of the challenge have to redo them the next day !! You did awesome on this one and you can always do it again when you can wear it for a few days !!
Yeah- it was sad to remove it. I made sure I stared at my nails as long as possible while it was on though LOL
I love this! Looks so cool!
Wow, I wish you could do my nails for me. I would really like this one on me.
I would love to! My boyfriend won’t let me paint his nails… and my mom doesn’t like busy nail art!
You should have nail parties 🙂

Fabulous!!!!!!

Great artwork here, Jacqui! Much appreciation for liking a way earlier post of mine, “Tub of Yarn” (wow, that was awhile ago, but I still like it as well).
